Las principales causas de esta subida fueron el aumento de las temperaturas medias, que favoreci\u00f3 el incremento de la demanda en la mayor\u00eda de los mercados, as\u00ed como el descenso generalizado de la producci\u00f3n e\u00f3lica y en gran parte de los mercados de la producci\u00f3n solar. El fin de semana casi todos los mercados alcanzaron precios horarios negativos. En el mercado ib\u00e9rico se registraron precios de 2,00 \u20ac\/MWh, que es el valor m\u00e1s bajo de la historia en este mercado. En Francia el s\u00e1bado se alcanz\u00f3 el precio m\u00e1s bajo desde finales de mayo de 2020. Estas ca\u00eddas estuvieron favorecidas por el aumento de la producci\u00f3n e\u00f3lica en casi todos los mercados y de la solar en la pen\u00ednsula ib\u00e9rica.
