Ce march\u00e9 conjoint, l&rsquo;un des rares exemples d&rsquo;int\u00e9gration transfrontali\u00e8re au niveau europ\u00e9en, est g\u00e9r\u00e9 par <strong>SEMO<\/strong> (Single Electricity Market Operator), une entreprise conjointe entre EirGrid (Irlande) et SONI (Irlande du Nord). Le SEM a commenc\u00e9 \u00e0 fonctionner en 2007.<\/p><p>Ces derni\u00e8res ann\u00e9es, le syst\u00e8me \u00e9lectrique irlandais a progress\u00e9 vers une plus grande p\u00e9n\u00e9tration des <strong>\u00e9nergies renouvelables<\/strong>, notamment l&rsquo;<strong>\u00e9olien<\/strong>, qui repr\u00e9sente d\u00e9j\u00e0 une part importante du mix de g\u00e9n\u00e9ration.<\/p><p>Dans les prochaines ann\u00e9es, le march\u00e9 \u00e9lectrique SEM fait face \u00e0 des transformations cl\u00e9s sur son chemin vers la <strong>d\u00e9carbonisation<\/strong> d'Irlande<\/strong> s'est fix\u00e9e comme objectif d'atteindre 80% de <strong>g\u00e9n\u00e9ration d'\u00e9nergie renouvelable<\/strong> dans son syst\u00e8me \u00e9lectrique pour 2030, port\u00e9e principalement par l'<strong>\u00e9olien terrestre<\/strong> et l'<strong>\u00e9olien marin<\/strong>, ainsi que par le d\u00e9veloppement du <strong>solaire<\/strong> et du <strong>stockage
