Son d\u00e9veloppement d\u00e9pendra du r\u00e9seau \u00e9lectrique, qui re\u00e7oit souvent moins d&rsquo;attention que la production. La phase suivante sera plus complexe, car l&rsquo;enjeu n&rsquo;est plus de produire de l&rsquo;\u00e9lectricit\u00e9 renouvelable, mais de l&rsquo;int\u00e9grer efficacement et de la distribuer pour r\u00e9pondre \u00e0 une <strong>demande d&rsquo;\u00e9lectricit\u00e9<\/strong> croissante. Dans de nombreuses zones, le manque de capacit\u00e9 d&rsquo;acc\u00e8s et de raccordement retarde d\u00e9j\u00e0 des projets industriels, des installations de <strong>stockage d&rsquo;\u00e9nergie<\/strong> et des points de recharge. L&rsquo;investissement dans les <strong>r\u00e9seaux \u00e9lectriques<\/strong> doit anticiper la croissance de la production et de la demande, car les d\u00e9lais de planification, d&rsquo;autorisation et de construction font de la capacit\u00e9 du r\u00e9seau un facteur limitant pour la <strong>d\u00e9carbonation<\/strong> et la comp\u00e9titivit\u00e9 industrielle.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>La distribution passera d&rsquo;une infrastructure passive \u00e0 une plateforme active<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Les nouvelles consommations industrielles, les <strong>v\u00e9hicules \u00e9lectriques<\/strong>, les pompes \u00e0 chaleur, l&rsquo;<strong>autoconsommation \u00e9lectrique<\/strong>, les <strong>batteries<\/strong> et les <strong>communaut\u00e9s \u00e9nerg\u00e9tiques<\/strong> devront tous se raccorder aux <strong>r\u00e9seaux de distribution d&rsquo;\u00e9lectricit\u00e9<\/strong>. Ces r\u00e9seaux ont \u00e9t\u00e9 con\u00e7us pour acheminer l&rsquo;\u00e9lectricit\u00e9 dans un seul sens, alors que le nouveau syst\u00e8me \u00e9lectrique fonctionnera de mani\u00e8re bidirectionnelle, avec des millions de consommateurs capables de produire, de stocker ou d&rsquo;injecter de l&rsquo;\u00e9lectricit\u00e9. La transformation exigera de nouveaux postes et de nouvelles lignes, ainsi qu&rsquo;une <strong>num\u00e9risation<\/strong> profonde par l&rsquo;automatisation, le comptage \u00e9volu\u00e9 et la supervision en temps r\u00e9el, afin d&rsquo;anticiper les congestions et de mieux utiliser la capacit\u00e9 disponible.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Le r\u00e9seau de transport sera une infrastructure industrielle strat\u00e9gique<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Les grands parcs \u00e9oliens et photovolta\u00efques s&rsquo;installent l\u00e0 o\u00f9 les ressources naturelles sont les meilleures et la disponibilit\u00e9 fonci\u00e8re la plus grande, des zones qui ne co\u00efncident pas toujours avec les centres urbains et industriels. Les <strong>r\u00e9seaux de transport d&rsquo;\u00e9lectricit\u00e9<\/strong> devront relier cette nouvelle g\u00e9ographie de la production aux grands centres de consommation et, dans le m\u00eame temps, int\u00e9grer les <a href=\"https:\/\/aleasoft.com\/data-centers-future-electricity-demand\/\"><strong>centres de donn\u00e9es<\/strong><\/a>, les usines d&rsquo;<strong>hydrog\u00e8ne vert<\/strong>, le stockage \u00e0 grande \u00e9chelle et l&rsquo;\u00e9lectrification des transports. D\u00e9velopper les renouvelables sans \u00e9tendre le r\u00e9seau en parall\u00e8le provoque des congestions, des restrictions de production et une augmentation de l&rsquo;\u00e9cr\u00eatement. La capacit\u00e9 du r\u00e9seau deviendra donc un facteur d\u00e9cisif pour attirer les <strong>investissements<\/strong> et doit \u00eatre comprise comme une infrastructure de r\u00e9industrialisation, et non simplement comme un co\u00fbt pour le syst\u00e8me.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Les interconnexions permettront d&rsquo;exploiter la compl\u00e9mentarit\u00e9 europ\u00e9enne<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>La production \u00e9olienne, solaire et hydro\u00e9lectrique varie d&rsquo;un pays \u00e0 l&rsquo;autre et d&rsquo;une heure \u00e0 l&rsquo;autre, raison pour laquelle les <strong>interconnexions<\/strong> sont essentielles pour exploiter la compl\u00e9mentarit\u00e9 des ressources europ\u00e9ennes. Plus la capacit\u00e9 d&rsquo;\u00e9change est importante, plus la marge sera grande pour \u00e9quilibrer production et consommation, r\u00e9duire l&rsquo;\u00e9cr\u00eatement des <strong>\u00e9nergies renouvelables<\/strong>, limiter les \u00e9pisodes de prix extr\u00eames et progresser vers une v\u00e9ritable int\u00e9gration des <strong>march\u00e9s \u00e9lectriques europ\u00e9ens<\/strong>. Pour l&rsquo;Espagne et le Portugal, le renforcement des connexions avec le reste de l&rsquo;Europe sera particuli\u00e8rement pertinent. La p\u00e9ninsule Ib\u00e9rique dispose de conditions favorables pour devenir un grand producteur d&rsquo;\u00e9lectricit\u00e9 renouvelable et de carburants verts, mais, sans capacit\u00e9 d&rsquo;interconnexion suffisante, cette production pourrait rester confin\u00e9e au march\u00e9 ib\u00e9rique, avec davantage d&rsquo;\u00e9cr\u00eatement et des prix capt\u00e9s par les renouvelables plus faibles.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Stockage, flexibilit\u00e9 et r\u00e9seaux sont des solutions compl\u00e9mentaires<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Toutes les congestions n&rsquo;ont pas \u00e0 \u00eatre r\u00e9solues par la construction de nouvelles lignes, de m\u00eame que le <strong>stockage par batteries<\/strong> ne peut pas remplacer l&rsquo;ensemble des extensions de r\u00e9seau n\u00e9cessaires. Les batteries d\u00e9placent l&rsquo;\u00e9lectricit\u00e9 des heures de plus forte production renouvelable vers les p\u00e9riodes de plus forte demande et fournissent des services d&rsquo;\u00e9quilibrage. De son c\u00f4t\u00e9, la gestion active de la demande adapte une partie de la consommation \u00e0 la capacit\u00e9 disponible, \u00e0 condition que les signaux \u00e9conomiques et la r\u00e9glementation n\u00e9cessaires soient en place. Ces solutions permettent de diff\u00e9rer certains investissements, mais la croissance structurelle de la production renouvelable et de la <strong>demande \u00e9lectrifi\u00e9e<\/strong> exigera tout autant de nouvelles lignes, de nouveaux postes et de nouvelles interconnexions.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Le r\u00e9seau, principal investissement strat\u00e9gique pour la d\u00e9carbonation<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>La question d\u00e9cisive n&rsquo;est pas de savoir si le r\u00e9seau actuel est pr\u00eat pour l&rsquo;\u00e9lectrification, mais si la planification et l&rsquo;investissement avanceront avec suffisamment d&rsquo;anticipation pour construire le r\u00e9seau dont le nouveau syst\u00e8me \u00e9lectrique aura besoin. Il n&rsquo;y aura pas d&rsquo;\u00e9lectrification au rythme n\u00e9cessaire sans r\u00e9seaux de distribution plus intelligents, ni de r\u00e9industrialisation renouvelable sans r\u00e9seaux de transport robustes, ni de <strong>d\u00e9carbonation<\/strong> europ\u00e9enne efficace sans interconnexions suffisantes. La production renouvelable fournit l&rsquo;\u00e9nergie et la demande \u00e9lectrifi\u00e9e permet de l&rsquo;utiliser, mais c&rsquo;est le r\u00e9seau qui fait que les deux co\u00efncident au bon moment et au bon endroit.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Planifier le r\u00e9seau avec une vision de long terme<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Plusieurs ann\u00e9es peuvent s&rsquo;\u00e9couler entre l&rsquo;identification d&rsquo;un besoin et la mise en service d&rsquo;une ligne ou d&rsquo;un poste, si bien qu&rsquo;attendre l&rsquo;apparition de congestions ou de demandes de raccordement arrive trop tard au regard du rythme qu&rsquo;exige l&rsquo;\u00e9lectrification. Il faudra anticiper o\u00f9 sera install\u00e9e la nouvelle production, quels secteurs augmenteront leur consommation et o\u00f9 appara\u00eetront de nouveaux p\u00f4les industriels.
