Statkraft Markets GmbH, the German trading office, has selected AleaSoft price forecasting service<\/h2>\n

June 27, 2012.-<\/b> Statkraft Markets GmbH<\/a>, a mayor player on European energy exchanges, is using AleaSoft<\/a> price forecasting models. AleaSoft forecasting service was chosen on the basis of the quality demonstrated in product trials.<\/p>\n

Statkraft Markets GmbH<\/a>, with offices in D\u00fcsseldorf (Germany), is actively participating in the shaping of a thriving pan-European wholesale, spot and forward market for power, fuels and CO2.<\/p>\n

The company serves as a centralized trading hub for Germany, Austria, France, Switzerland and the Netherlands, and also operates in the Spanish OMEL market.<\/p>\n

AleaSoft offers price forecasting models (\u201cAleaPrice\u201d) for European Markets, such as OMEL, Powernext, IPEX and the German market. Models are based on Neural Networks and Statistics methods, with automatic learning algorithms that capture the dynamic nature of price, identifying peaks, setting and maintaining the models updated when trend changes occur. Each model is personalised to the particular features of each market and is regularly checked by AleaSoft experts.<\/p>\n

AleaSoft forecasting models are implemented in the market since 2002, with an ongoing updating, and are being used by major players in the European markets.<\/p>\n

\u201cAleaPrice\u201d models can be installed on the client site or can be offered as a remote service.<\/p>\n

With this new contract, AleaSoft reinforces its leading position as provider of electricity prices forecasting solutions.
