The low prices that have been recorded in the Iberian MIBEL electricity market during February and March have put the focus, even more, on the need to develop energy storage as an essential ally in the development of renewable solar and wind energy towards the goal of decarbonization. This is why in this webinar we will once again analyze the state and prospects of the energy storage market, this time with Raúl García Posada, Director of ASEALEN, the Spanish Energy Storage Association, who is participating for the third time in the monthly webinars of AleaSoft Energy Forecasting and AleaGreen.
The usual analysis of the evolution and prospects of the energy markets will also be carried out Europeans.
Speakers
Oriol Saltó i Bauzà, is Associate Partner at AleaGreen. He has a Doctor in Physics from the Autonomous University of Barcelona. He has 20 years of experience in data analysis and modeling both in the context of scientific research and energy markets. At AleaSoft, for more than ten years, he has been at the forefront of the development of forecast models for European energy markets: electricity, gas, oil, CO5
, among others.Raúl García Posada, is currently the Director of ASEALEN, Spanish Energy Storage Association, having previously held the position of General Secretary of PROTERMOSOLAR, Spanish Association for the Promotion of the Thermosolar Industry. He has experience in the complete development of renewable projects, from their origin with the location of locations and administrative and environmental processing to their commercial operation and sale, through construction, financing, commissioning and operation.

Antonio Delgado Rigal, is the founder and CEO of AleaSoft. He has a PhD in Artificial Intelligence from the Polytechnic University of Catalonia and the main creator of the Alea methodology and forecasting model. He has participated as a leader in dozens of forecasting projects and created or supervised hundreds of forecasting models in the energy sector for the most important companies in the sector in Europe. The accumulated experience in the knowledge of the Spanish electricity market goes back more than 20 years.
