Job description
Integrate energy market price forecasts into complex financial models to assess the Internal Rate of Return (IRR) of renewable energy projects (wind and solar photovoltaic energy), energy storage (batteries or other technologies) or hybrid plants
Prepare reports on the state of the PPA market and provide negotiation advice or strategies to our clients.
Create synergies between renewable energy producers and offtakers interested in PPA
Collaborate with the project development team and modelling team to ensure that price projections are accurate and appropriately incorporated into PPA negotiation and project finance strategies
Contribute to the development of tools and methodologies to improve the accuracy of price forecasts and financial analysis of projects
Keep up to date on trends and regulatory changes in the renewable energy sector and electricity markets to improve projections and analysis
Requirements
BSc in Finance, Economics, Engineering or related disciplines.
Solid knowledge of Project Finance and ability to apply financial analysis to renewable energy projects.
Familiarity with the design and negotiation of Power Purchase Agreements (PPA) in the context of clean energy projects.
Proficiency with tools and software required for data analysis and financial analysis
Analytical skills and ability to work with large datasets
Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
Motivation to contribute to the growth of renewable energy and sustainability
