Green hydrogen is a key and essential piece in the energy transition. Its potential as a seasonal energy storage technology, as a fuel for transport and industry, and as a substitute for natural gas, will make it a protagonist in the coming years. For this reason, this webinar will focus on green hydrogen, its prospects as a strategic vector, the business models that will allow its development to proceed, as well as existing aid and regulation.
This edition will feature the participation of speakers from H2B2, a leading technology company for the vertical integration of the entire renewable hydrogen value chain, who will also explain their company’s value commitment. H2B2 offers development, search for financing, promotion, integration, design, construction, operation and maintenance of renewable hydrogen production systems services, customised for each project. H2B2 develops complete solutions for conventional and integrated projects of hundreds of MW, including the transport, sale and supply of green hydrogen to different sectors such as industrial, energy storage, transport and residential.
The webinar will also analyse the evolution of the European energy markets in recent weeks and the prospects in the mid- and long-term.
Speakers
Oriol Saltó i Bauzà, is Associate Partner at AleaGreen. He is PhD in Physics from the Autonomous University of Barcelona. He has 20 years of experience in data analysis and modelling both in the context of scientific research and in energy markets. At AleaSoft, for more than ten years, he has been at the forefront of the development of forecasting models for the European energy markets: electricity, gas, oil, CO2, among others.
África Castro, is Head of Business Development at H2B2, is an Industrial Engineer with a master’s degree in Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency by the University of Zaragoza and has completed a MDP (Management Development Program) at the IESE Business School of the University of Navarra. Ms. Castro has been working in energy innovation for over 25 years, the last 20 of them dedicated to hydrogen and fuel cells. She has held positions of responsibility in the fields of technological innovation, corporate strategy and institutional relations at regional, national and international levels. Additionally, she is Coordinator of the Hydrogen Production by Electrolysis working group at the Spanish Technology Platform on Hydrogen and Fuel Cells (PTE-HPC) and has expertise in working groups also at European level (FCH JU, Hydrogen Europe).
Anselmo Andrade, is Integrated Product Director at H2B2, holds a MSc Finance from The London School of Economics and Political Science, and a BSc in Economics, Finance, and Management from Queen Mary, University of London. Mr. Andrade began working in the Risk Management departments of Credit Agricole CA-CIB (Madrid) and Lloyds Bank (London). He has also worked in Debt Capital Markets at BBVA Corporate & Investment banking in London. After his experience in Banking, prior to joining H2B2 in 2016, Anselmo worked in Financial & Commodities Risk Consulting (Global/Wholesale Banking) in Management Solutions in London.
