For the sixth consecutive year, the October webinar will feature speakers from Deloitte, who will share their views on the current state and future trends in renewable energy and storage project financing. The session will also explore the importance of forecasting in audits and portfolio valuation, especially in a context of increasing energy market volatility.

In addition, the webinar will examine the growing opportunities offered by battery storage and hybridisation, two strategic pillars of the energy transition that have attracted significant attention over the past year.

As always, the session will include an updated analysis of recent developments in the main European energy markets, with a particular focus on the outlook for winter 2025‑2026.

Speaker

Oriol Saltó i Bauzà is Associate Partner at AleaSoft. He is PhD in Physics from the Autonomous University of Barcelona. He has 20 years of experience in data analysis and modelling both in the context of scientific research and in energy markets. At AleaSoft, for more than 15 years, he has been at the forefront of the development of forecasting models for the European energy markets: electricity, gas, oil, CO₂, among others.

Carlos Milans del Bosch is Partner, Corporate Finance Energy at Deloitte. He has more than 25 years of experience in the field of Structured Financing, originating and executing non‑recourse financing operations, M&A and financial advisory services in the energy and infrastructure sectors, focusing on debt structuring and PPA in the renewable energy sector. Throughout his professional career he has worked with numerous multidisciplinary teams, leading pioneering project financing and leveraged finance transactions for corporate and institutional clients, both in Spain and abroad.

Álvaro Antón Azcoiti is Director, Corporate Finance Energy at Deloitte since 2018. He previously worked for over 14 years at HSBC Global Banking and Markets as Director Project & Export Finance and as Director Infraestructure and Real Estate Group.

Ricardo Benito Pascual is Director, Corporate Finance Energy at Deloitte. He has more than 20 years of experience at Deloitte, in which he has provided financial advice to companies in the energy sector, mainly in the renewable energy sector.

Alejandro Delgado Fornaguera is Associate Partner at AleaSoft, with more than 13 years of experience in the development and coordination of forecasting projects for the energy sector. He has been involved in projects for forecasting prices, demand and renewable energy production in global electricity markets, covering short, medium and long term horizons.
