Energy storage is one of the main players in the energy sector in 2025 and it will continue to be key during the current five‑year period.

In this webinar, we will have the participation of Raúl García Posada, Director at ASEALEN, the Spanish Energy Storage Association, who joins us for the fourth time in our monthly meetings, to analyse regulation and current situation of energy storage, as well as the prospects for the coming months.

In addition, we will carry out our usual analysis on the evolution and prospects of European energy markets, taking into account the current global economic situation and the potential consequences of an escalation in the imposition of new tariffs, which is showing signs of a possible crisis similar to that experienced during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Speakers

Raúl García Posada he is currently the Director of ASEALEN, the Spanish Energy Storage Association, having previously held the position of General Secretary of PROTERMOSOLAR, the Spanish Association for the Promotion of the Solar Thermal Industry. He has experience in the complete development of renewable energy projects, from their origin with the location of sites and administrative and environmental processing to their commercial operation and sale, including construction, financing, commissioning and operation.

Oriol Saltó i Bauzà is Associate Partner at AleaSoft. He is PhD in Physics from the Autonomous University of Barcelona. He has 20 years of experience in data analysis and modelling both in the context of scientific research and in energy markets. At AleaSoft, for more than 15 years, he has been at the forefront of the development of forecasting models for the European energy markets: electricity, gas, oil, CO₂, among others.

Alejandro Delgado Fornaguera is Associate Partner at AleaSoft, with more than 12 years of experience in the development and coordination of forecasting projects for the energy sector. He has been involved in projects for forecasting prices, demand and renewable energy production in global electricity markets, covering short, medium and long term horizons.
