The European energy markets are currently immersed in the process of energy transition towards a less polluting generation mix, in order to achieve the objectives set by the European Union for the reduction of greenhouse gases. Already moving away from the fears caused by the COVID‑19 and recovered from the falls registered during the first months of the pandemic, the objective is now increasing the generation capacity from renewable energy sources.
