The reference prices reflect the expected long-term market evolution, the captured prices of the technology analysed and the factors considered in our methodology: demand, renewable energy penetration, fuel and CO2 emission allowance prices, international interconnections and the evolution of the generation mix.
This service is aimed at developers and generators, large consumers, retailers, utilities, investment funds, banks and other parties involved in the negotiation, financing or valuation of PPA contracts.
The reference prices make it possible to compare proposals, analyse different start dates and durations, value projects and incorporate an independent benchmark into financial models and financing, investment, acquisition and due diligence processes. The final price of a PPA will also depend on its contractual terms and the allocation of risk between the parties.
