AleaSoft’s history is linked to R&D&I. The company was founded as a spin-off from the Polytechnic University of Catalonia (UPC) and has been a reference technological partner in Artificial Intelligence and Statistics projects for 25 years.

AleaSoft’s forecasts use the Alea methodology, based on the hybrid AleaModel, which combines the state-of-the-art of recurrent neural networks, Box-Jenkins methodology and classical statistical techniques.

AleaSoft’s staff, which includes PhDs, engineers and graduates, has a strong scientific profile. The team has been involved in scientific research projects and has extensive experience in analysing electricity markets and developing innovative solutions for the renewable energy sector, integrating market intelligence into its services.

AleaSoft is open to working with research centres, universities and collaborative projects for the research and development of forecasting models for the energy sector.
